Alpha Omega Publishing (AOP) curriculum is written on the principle of "mastery learning." This means that students truly master the content and skills of one unit before progressing to the next. Different students learn at different speeds, thus mastery learning ensures success by allowing each student to spend as much time as necessary in one subject area prior to moving on. |
Bible is a comprehensive, basic curriculum for grades 3-12 with a developmental and in-depth academic study of the teachings of the Old and New Testaments. Utilizing the King James Version and the New American Standard Bible, the Bible curriculum covers a variety of biblical material to assist in the development of a Christian life-view and the integration of this view into academic studies and practical living.

History and Geography is a comprehensive, basic curriculum for grades 3-12. Presented in a reading-based format, it utilizes a combination of on- and off-computer assignments and activities with the power of SOS automation and administration. The goal of this program is to develop students' understanding of and appreciation for God's activity as seen in the record of man and his relationships. The curriculum targets this goal by focusing on strategic presentation.

Language Arts, a comprehensive, basic curriculum for grades 3-12, targets the sequential development and integration of communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The program addresses these skills by delivering a combination of on- and off-computer assignments by using the structure and organization of the LIFEPAC curriculum framework and the power of SOS automation and administration.
Because Language Arts is an integrated program, the elementary grades (3-6) weave skill topics (reading, writing, listening, speaking) together within units. In the upper grades, skills are treated more discretely—i.e. unit by unit.

Science is a comprehensive, basic Curriculum for grades 3-12. Students focus on the development of observational skills as they study the physical universe God created. The program involves a combination of on- and off-computer assignments as it combines the structure and organization of the LIFEPAC curriculum framework with the power of SOS automation and administration.
Because science is such a diverse program, the elementary and Jr. High grades (3-9) observe each area of science on an individual survey basis, usually unit by unit. The high school grades (10-12) focus on specific areas of science; this includes Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
